Our Mission
Wesley United Methodist Church is a community of faith that lives out the mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Our growing and ongoing vision is to be a visible spiritual center, active in the community through social, educational, and service ministries, while witnessing to the Way of Jesus Christ.
The congregation welcomes guests with radical hospitality; and is inclusive of all persons from every walk of life. The Wesley UMC family enjoys time together to fellowship, and takes seriously the meaning of discipleship and worship as a community experience. Through fellowship, discipleship, and worship, we also are continuously in mission to the local community and in the world.
We invite you to come experience the love of Christ in the Wesley Family when we gather in large and small groups… traditional and contemporary settings…during worship for discussion over a cup of coffee. Come as you are. Be received as you are. Journey with us as we grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and proclaim Christ to the world!
What We Believe
The people of The United Methodist Church are part of the second largest Protestant denomination in the United States. Our worldwide connection includes approximately 12.8 million members.
The United Methodist Church was formed when the Methodist Church and the Evangelical United Brethren Church merged in 1968. But we trace our heritage back to the movement begun in 1729 in England by John and Charles Wesley. Find out more about our history.
